This inspection hatch with non-slip tread surface is a rectangular, grey access hatch for marine use. The robust, non-slip surface is designed as a tread area, and the hatch's external dimensions are 280 × 380 mm.
The hatch can be used as access to storage compartments, lockers, fish tanks, and other storage spaces, as well as a hatch in a bulkhead. The cover closure is splash-proof and fitted with a neoprene gasket that seals tightly between the cover and the frame.
Flush-mount design provides a level installation in the surrounding surface. The hatch can be opened 160°, providing good access through the 180 × 280 mm clear opening. The internal dimension is not stated as a cutout dimension and should therefore not be used as a mounting hole without verification.
The inspection hatch is intended for installation on recreational craft in design categories A, B, C, and D, as well as installation areas IIa, III, and IV.
