PVC base profile for fender profile in grey UV-resistant PVC, intended as a base profile for a C-shaped stainless steel fender profile. This version is supplied as a 24 m roll and has a cross-section of 35 × 15 mm.
The base profile is part of a modular rub rail and fender profile system, where the PVC profile forms the base for a separate stainless steel top profile. The extruded PVC construction is UV-resistant and suitable for external maritime use.
This version is specifically adapted for profile 20 in the recessed type. The term recessed type refers to the hole design on the compatible stainless steel top profile and does not describe mounting holes in the PVC base profile itself.
The base profile fits the C-shaped AISI 316 fender profile with item no. 44.480.20. The compatible top profile is supplied separately in 3 m lengths and has a mirror-polished, pickled, and passivated surface for use in saltwater environments.
The system-compatible stainless steel end piece has item no. 44.484.33 and is supplied separately. The profile should be used with the documented profile geometry, as bases for other profile 20 variants, as well as profile 28 and profile 35, are not interchangeable.
