This UV-resistant PVC base for C-shaped fender profile is a grey mounting profile for fender profile 35 in a recessed design. The base serves as the lower part of a marine fender and rub rail system, where the matching stainless steel profile is mounted on top of the PVC base.
The base is manufactured from UV-resistant PVC, which is suitable for the sun exposure that occurs with external mounting on a boat. The grey finish can be combined with the compatible C-shaped stainless steel fender profile.
The cross-section of the PVC base measures 47 × 21 mm, and it is supplied as a 24 m roll. The cross-section dimensions are the product dimensions of the PVC base itself and should be distinguished from the dimensions of the compatible stainless steel top profile.
The base fits fender profile 35 with item no. 44.480.38. The compatible top profile is C-shaped and made of mirror-polished, pickled, and passivated AISI 316 stainless steel. The top profile has the dimensions A 35 mm, material thickness 1.5 mm and H 9 mm, a standard length of 3 m, and a hole center distance of 198 mm. These dimensions apply to the separate top profile and not the PVC base.
The system can be finished with the separate stainless steel end cap with item no. 44.484.37. The top profile and end cap are separate system components and are not included as part of the PVC base.
