These CABINET 2-way marine speakers with adjustable bracket from Greness are a pair of passive, white cabinet speakers for marine, indoor, and outdoor installations. Each speaker delivers 30 W RMS and up to 60 W maximum power.
The coaxial 2-way design combines a 3″ woofer with a 1″ tweeter. Each speaker has a nominal impedance of 4 Ω, a frequency range of 75 Hz to 20 kHz, and a sensitivity of 90 ± 2 dB at 1 W/1 m. The maximum sound pressure level is 105 ± 2 dB at 1 m and 30 W.
The IP65 cabinet is suitable for exposed installations and protects against dust and water jets. The speakers have low magnetic interference to limit the impact on compasses and boat instruments. The cabinet is made of plastic with a powder-coated aluminum front grille, mica/polypropylene cone, and thermoplastic polyurethane surround.
Each unit is supplied with an adjustable U-bracket made of coated stainless steel for surface and bracket mounting. A speaker measures 98 mm in width, 114 mm in depth, and 191.5 mm in total height including the bracket and adjustment parts. The height of the cabinet itself is 164 mm.
The construction has been tested with 600 hours of UV exposure according to ASTM D4329 and ASTM D2244, as well as 400 hours of salt spray testing according to ASTM B117. The speaker test follows IEC 268-5 over 100 hours, and the product is RoHS compliant. The documented operating temperature range is −20 °C to +100 °C.
The speakers are connected to a suitable 4 Ω speaker amplifier. Bluetooth is not built-in, but can be added with a separate compatible amplifier from the 29.749.0x series, including 29.749.02, 29.749.04, and 29.749.06. The delivery includes two speakers with adjustable brackets.
