Description
Pair the GRF 10 rudder sensor with the GHP™ 12 to get rudder position feedback and detect and avoid rudder stalls while sailing.
The GRF 10 uses a magnetic sensor to transmit position information, eliminating the friction that causes other types of sensors to wear down. The arm of the GRF 10 is connected to the boat’s rudder and transmits position information via the sensor to the sailor so he or she knows where the rudder is – providing added peace of mind when starting from a stop, docking, leaving the dock or moving at low speeds.
In addition, GRF 10 offers sailors the following options:
Knowing the rudder position without looking back
To make smoother maneuvers and avoid overcompensating
To avoid unnecessary wear and tear on their autopilot system by eliminating load on the rudder when it is already stopped to the left or right.
