This GUIDI Ionio replacement filter basket in 316 stainless steel with U-profile is a replaceable filter insert for Ionio water filters with a nominal connection size of G 2″. The basket retains impurities in the intake water before the water is led further into the connected system.
The filter basket is made of 316 stainless steel and is supplied with a U-shaped edge profile made of NBR. The U-profile has a length of 395 mm and fits around the edge of the filter basket. The set belongs to the spare parts family KIT1164, while the separate U-profile is also available under the spare parts family KIT1164GU.
The basket has a diameter D of 124 mm and a height H of 160 mm. The separate drawing dimension D1 is 64 mm. G 2″ indicates the size of the compatible filter's pipe connection and is not a thread on the filter basket itself.

Maintenance
The filter basket should be checked regularly, as marine growth, dirt, and plastic can block the openings and reduce the filter's performance. The basket can be cleaned with water and compressed air. Stop the engine and close the water intake valves before dismantling. Check gaskets and O-rings, and ensure that the filter cover is correctly tightened before opening the valves again. This is particularly important for installations below the waterline.
