This GUIDI Ionio replacement filter basket in 316 stainless steel is a replaceable filter insert for Ionio water filters with G 2 1/2" connections. It fits filter item no. 17.648.06 and is used to collect impurities in the water flow.
The filter basket is part of a seawater filter system that can protect, among other things, the heat exchanger and cooling water circuits of engines, generator sets, and marine air conditioning systems against impurities in the incoming water. It is not intended as a pre-filter in a fuel system.
The basket is manufactured from 316 stainless steel for use in marine environments. The product dimensions are D 155 mm, D1 93.5 mm, and H 188 mm. D and D1 are separate diameter measurements from the product dimension sketch, while G 2 1/2" indicates the connection size of the compatible filter.
