This GUIDI Mediterraneo stainless steel 316 replacement filter basket is a removable filter insert for marine water filters with a nominal size of G 2½". The basket collects impurities from the water flow inside the filter and is intended as a spare part for compatible Mediterraneo filters.
The cylindrical, perforated filter basket features an attached lifting handle, which is used to remove the insert for inspection and service. The basket is inserted directly into the compatible water filter and does not require separate thread, flange, or bolt mounting.
The filter basket is made of stainless steel 316. The diameter is 124 mm, the cylindrical basket has a height of 175 mm, and the total height including the folded-up handle is 246 mm. The designation G 2½" describes the nominal size of the compatible filter and is not a thread measurement of the basket itself.
The spare part fits the GUIDI Mediterraneo filter series 1162, 3162, 1163, and 3163 in the 2½" size. The documented filter models are 1162.220010, 3162.440010, 1163.220010, and 3163.440010. It also fits water filter item no. 17.654.07.
The manufacturer's spare part number is KIT1162CE010. A documented alternative in HDPE plastic has item no. KIT51162CEP010, while the ring KIT1162AN010 is a separate spare part for the 2½" filter and is not included with this filter basket.
