This country-specific safety pressure regulator for the Rafale propane shrink gun is an adjustable propane regulator for Zone 6/Russia. The variant has manufacturer reference 693R6 and is intended for connecting Rafale shrink guns to propane cylinders with a Russian cylinder connection.
The regulator operates with an inlet pressure of 4–16 bar and provides an adjustable outlet pressure of 1.5–3.5 bar. The maximum flow rate is 10–12 kg/h, which supports the gas supply for the professional Rafale system for heat shrinking polyethylene for, among other things, wrapping, covering, and winter storage.
The Zone 6 variant features a W21.8 × 1/14" left-hand thread on the inlet side. The outlet is designed with a 3/8" left-hand thread for the Rafale hose system. The country-specific cylinder connection means that this variant cannot replace the regulators for Area 0, 2, 3, or 5 without a separately suitable adapter.
The built-in excess flow valve automatically shuts off the gas supply in the event of a hose rupture or excessive gas flow. The regulator also has a reset button so the safety function can be reactivated after checking the installation.
The regulator is compatible with the Guilbert Express Rafale 4040 and Rafale+ 4065 as well as the Rafale Black Edition+ propane shrink gun with item no. 46.177.00. Use the equipment in sufficiently ventilated areas, and read the user manual before installation and use.
