This rubber sealing ring for flywheel housing is a hard replacement ring with an outside diameter of 200 mm and original reference Volvo Penta 804190. The ring is used in the engine/transom assembly and is mounted between the engine and the transom plate.
The sealing ring forms a watertight connection at the flywheel housing clamp ring and prevents water from entering the boat through the assembly. It is made of rubber and supplied individually. Two rings must be used per engine, so a complete engine installation requires ordering 2 units.
OE 804190 is the hard version, which is normally used in installations without a front engine mount or engine bearer. It must not be confused with the soft ring with OE 813967, as the choice depends on the engine's suspension and the specific transom configuration.

The reference is also used in selected D4 and D6 configurations with DPH, DPR, DPI and DPX drives. The engine model alone is not sufficient for selecting the ring, as the same engine family can occur with different suspensions and ring types.
