This halogen navigation light bulb is a replaceable 12 V light source with a power of 5 W. The pack contains 10 bulbs and is intended for documented Compact navigation, anchor, and signal lights.
The small high-intensity bulb is developed for compact fixtures where limited heat generation and low power consumption are essential. It can be used in relevant 225° masthead lights, 135° stern lights, 360° anchor lights, as well as bi-color and tri-color navigation lights.
The bulb is documented for the Utility Compact fixtures 11.412.01-06, 11.412.11-16, 11.413.03, 11.413.05, and 11.413.11-15. It is also used in selected Compact light masts and light poles in the series 11.105, 11.112, 11.113, 11.127, 11.141, 11.147, 11.148, and 11.161.
The fixture's approval applies to the complete navigation light solution in the specified configuration. The loose bulb does not have a documented independent RINA, NMMA, or COLREG72 certification, and the permitted vessel size therefore depends on the specific fixture.
An LED bulb with item no. 14.225.01 is documented as an alternative light source for several of the same fixtures. However, the navigation lights in question are not certified with this LED bulb installed, so the fixture's approval status must be checked before replacement.
