Heavy-duty flush-mount battery switch in cream RAL 9001 is designed for disconnecting the battery's positive cable in marine electrical systems. The flush-mount design is suitable for installation in a panel or bulkhead.
The battery switch is rated for a continuous current of 280 A and can handle up to 2,500 A for 5 seconds. Connection is made via 10 mm diameter terminal studs.
The front flange has a diameter of 105 mm, while the maximum width over the cover is 113.5 mm. Installation requires an Ø 80 mm cutout and 99 mm of clearance behind the mounting surface, including the terminals. The flange has three mounting points.
Operation is performed using a removable nickel-plated brass key. A documented spare key can be ordered separately under item no. 14.385.51.
The battery switch is CE type-approved in accordance with Directive 94/25/EC. Installation on the positive battery cable follows the guidance of ISO 10133.
