This Heavy Duty marine battery switch for recessed mounting is a black main power switch for marine electrical systems. It is designed for recessed mounting and can handle a continuous load of up to 280 A, as well as 2500 A for 5 seconds.
The switch is operated using a removable nickel-plated brass key. The design features two electrical connection studs on the back, each with a diameter of 10 mm. The removable key allows you to disconnect the battery and remove the operating lever.
Installation requires a round Ø80 mm cutout. The front flange has a nominal diameter of 105 mm, while the maximum width across the hinged cover is 113.5 mm. The total height is 124.5 mm, and the installation depth including connections is 99 mm. The flange is secured through three mounting holes with an 80 mm center-to-center distance.
The battery switch must be installed on the battery's positive cable in accordance with ISO 10133. It is CE type-approved in accordance with directive 94/25/EC.
