This spare key is intended as a replacement or additional key for the Heavy Duty MKII marine battery switch with item no. 14.385.10. It is used for manual operation of the compatible battery switch.
The key is made of red plastic and has a double shaft with two slanted positioning and locking tabs. The design is specific to the documented battery switch and should not be considered to have universal compatibility.
The spare key measures 49 mm in total length, 57 mm in total width, and 11 mm in total depth. The shaft has a diameter of 11 mm and a length of 27 mm measured from the underside of the handle. The two tabs have a diameter of 4 mm and a length of 3 mm, while the distance from the underside of the handle to the tab is 18 mm.
The handle is equipped with a hole for a keyring, so the key can be stored with other keys or attached to a suitable place on board. Check the item number of the battery switch before purchase, as other keys in the same general product group are not documented as compatible alternatives.
