This horseshoe lifebuoy set is a complete MOB safety kit featuring an orange horseshoe lifebuoy, floating lifebuoy light, orange floating line, and gray storage cover. The set keeps the equipment together and ready for use on leisure boats and other vessels.
The included 22.416.02 horseshoe lifebuoy measures 50 × 50 × 10 cm and has a soft Ethafoam core. The buoy is covered in waterproof and UV-resistant polyester fabric, which can be removed and washed.
The orange 22.408.06 floating line is 30 m long and has a diameter of 8 mm. The line is type-approved and has a breaking strength of 400 kg. It is supplied without a stainless steel carabiner.
The included 30.583.00 Mini One LED lifebuoy light turns on automatically when tilted or capsized. The light uses 2 × AA batteries and has a rotating safety switch that must be activated before use. The lifebuoy light is MED-approved and comes with a mounting bracket.
The gray storage cover is made of PVC/polyester fabric and opens quickly with a tear-away system. Adjustable straps allow the cover to be attached to the boat's pulpit or railing without a specified tube diameter.
The corresponding separate gray cover has item no. 22.424.33. A stainless steel alternative bracket with item no. 22.418.00 can be used for the included lifebuoy on tubes with a diameter of 20–25 mm, but is not necessary when using the cover's integrated straps.
