This horseshoe lifebuoy set with cover is a complete maritime rescue kit for rapid deployment in man-overboard situations. The set consists of an orange horseshoe lifebuoy, a Mini One LED lifebuoy light, an orange floating lifeline, and a white protective cover.
The included lifebuoy 22.416.02 measures 50 × 50 × 10 cm and features a soft Ethafoam core. The waterproof and UV-resistant polyester fabric cover is removable and washable. The orange color provides clear contrast during rescue operations.
The 22.408.06 floating lifeline is 30 m long with a diameter of 8 mm and a documented breaking load of 400 kg. The line is orange and type-approved for use with lifebuoys. A carabiner is not included with this line variant.
The Mini One lifebuoy light 30.583.00 uses LED technology and is activated automatically when tilted or turned. The light floats, is powered by 2 × AA batteries, and has a rotating safety switch that must be activated before use. The lifebuoy light is MED-approved and comes with a mounting bracket.
The white cover is made of UV-resistant PVC/polyester fabric and encloses the lifebuoy, line, and light. It protects the equipment from harsh weather conditions and features a quick-release system for rapid deployment. The set attaches directly to the boat's pulpit or railing with adjustable straps.
The documented loose replacement cover has item no. 22.424.31. A stainless steel holder with item no. 22.418.00 can be used as an accessory for the lifebuoy and fits tubes with a diameter of 20–25 mm.
