This horseshoe lifebuoy set is a complete man-overboard system for storage and quick access to safety equipment on board. The set consists of a rigid horseshoe lifebuoy, a floating lifebuoy light, a 30 m floating lifeline, and a white, quick-release ABS case.
The included orange lifebuoy 22.420.00 has an outer shell of polyethylene and is filled with expanded polyurethane foam. The overall dimensions of the buoy are 35 × 60 cm. The lifebuoy is type-approved for leisure craft in accordance with the Italian Ministerial Decree D.M. 385/99.
The floating STAR 1 lifebuoy light 30.584.00 activates automatically when tilted or turned. The light uses 4 × LR20 1.5 V batteries and has overall dimensions of 350 × 120 mm.
The orange lifeline 22.408.06 is made as a floating Levilene line. It measures 30 m in length and 8 mm in diameter, and has a documented breaking strength of 400 kg. This line variant is supplied without a stainless steel snap hook.
The white ABS case protects and stores the equipment, ensuring it is ready for rapid deployment. The case can be mounted on a pulpit or railing, as well as on a bulkhead or wall surface. For mounting on tubing, 4 clamps must be ordered separately. Documented alternatives are item no. 37.175.81, 37.261.01, or 37.264.02. Clamp 37.175.81 fits 22 or 25 mm tubing, while 37.261.01 fits 20, 22, or 25 mm tubing.
