This female shore power connector is a cable-mounted, 3-pin female coupling for a 16 A shore power connection at a quay or marina. This version has an IP44 rating and an integrated protective cover.
The housing is made of UV-stabilized polycarbonate, which is suitable for the exposed environment around a boat's shore power equipment. The plug is designed as a mobile and detachable connector for mounting on a shore power cable and is not intended as a fixed flush-mounted socket.
The cable entry features a cable gland and integrated strain relief that secures the cable at the connection point. The product is CE-marked and manufactured in accordance with European/CE standards.
The female connector can be used as the cable-side 16 A connection in a shore power system. A documented system can be assembled using the fixed shore power inlet item no. 14.321.16, cable item no. 14.592.01, and the corresponding 3-pin 16 A male plug item no. 14.335.01.
