This fast-acting glass fuse for instruments is intended for electrical circuit protection in instruments and instrumentation. The fuse has a rated current of 2 A, a cylindrical format of 5 × 20 mm, and a rated voltage of up to 250 V max.
The fast-acting trip characteristic breaks the circuit in the event of an overcurrent. There is no detailed time-current curve or separate F-marking provided, and the voltage type is not specified as AC or DC.
The fuse body is made of glass. The contacts are made of copper with a silver-plated surface, providing an electrical contact surface at both ends of the cylindrical fuse.
Always select a fuse according to the instrument's requirements for format, rated current, and maximum rated voltage. This variant requires a suitable fuse holder for 5 × 20 mm and must not be confused with glass fuses in the 6.3 × 32 mm format.
Supplied in a sales unit of 100 pieces. Alternative variants in the same product family are available with 1 A, 5 A, and 10 A, but the amperage may only be changed after an electrical assessment of the circuit to be protected.
