This fast-acting glass instrument fuse, 5 × 20 mm is a cylindrical cartridge fuse with a rated current of 5 A. It is intended for the protection of electrical instruments and circuits that require a fast-acting fuse in this format.
The fuse has a transparent glass body enclosing the fuse element. The contacts are made of copper and provided with a silver plating. The construction is specified for a maximum rated voltage of 250 V.
The cylindrical fuse format has a diameter of 5 mm and a length of 20 mm. The fuse is mounted in a fuse holder or fuse socket intended for 5 × 20 mm fuses.
