This FLUSH CE inspection hatch 600 × 350 mm in white is a rectangular, flush-fitting access hatch for inspection and storage compartments on leisure boats. The covering lid completely hides the frame and mounting area when the hatch is closed, providing a flush visual finish to the surface.
The hatch features fully flush-fitting hinges and can open 180°. The walkable, non-slip surface is suitable for areas where the hatch is part of the deck or cockpit surface. The handle folds down flush with the lid and simultaneously covers the opening for the optional key lock set.
The external dimension is 600 × 350 mm, the internal dimension is 513 × 265 mm, and the required mounting cutout is 530 × 280 mm. The construction is made of UV-resistant Luran S plastic from BASF and has a neoprene rubber seal in the closure. The material is developed for long-term outdoor exposure.
The hatch must be mounted on a completely flat surface so that the frame is not deformed and the seal is maintained. The mounting has 5 mm countersunk screw holes and a protrusion of approximately 17 mm above the mounting surface. Mounting screws are not included, and a suitable marine sealant must be used around the installation.
The product has a watertightness rating of 2 and is intended for recreational craft in design categories A, B, C, and D, as well as installation areas II a, III, and IV. The series is CE-approved based on UNI EN ISO 12216:2004 and type-tested in accordance with Directive 2013/53/EU.
