This white base rail for 38 mm fender profile, version B is a rigid base profile for constructing a two-part fender and rub rail profile on the exterior of the boat. The rail is supplied as a 4 m long rod and is used together with a separate flexible insert.
The base rail is manufactured from rigid Duralene plastic. The construction is shatterproof, bendable without creasing, and retains its shape over time. This makes the profile suitable for mounting along the hull, where the finished rub rail can protect the area around the joint between the deck and the hull.
Version B has a profile height of 38 mm and an overhang of 6 mm at the screw cover. The white base rail only constitutes the base of the profile system; the flexible PVC insert is not included and must be installed separately to form the complete fender profile.
The documented matching insert is the white flexible PVC insert with item no. 44.038.40. For joints, the white joint cover with item no. 44.042.26 can be used.
