This UV-resistant PVC base for stainless steel fender profile is a white base profile for the Profilo 20 system. It is supplied as a 24 m roll and has a cross-section of 35 × 15 mm.
The PVC base is mounted under the compatible C-shaped fender profile, item no. 44.480.20. The curved profile shape and the internal channel are designed to form the base for the stainless profile and act as an integral part of the boat's fender profile.
The compatible Profilo 20 is made of AISI 316 stainless steel and has countersunk holes. The steel profile is 19 mm wide, 1.5 mm thick and 4.6 mm high with a hole spacing of 198 mm. These dimensions apply to the separate steel profile and not the cross-section of the PVC base.
The PVC material is UV-resistant and intended for external maritime use. The base profile, the stainless steel profile, and the end cap are supplied as separate system parts. The corresponding stainless steel end cap has item no. 44.484.33.
The same base geometry is also available in grey with item no. 44.481.43 and black with item no. 44.481.53. This variant is white.
