This Igloo rigid cooler in the Marine Contour series is the 120 model with a capacity of 113 L. The passive cooler is developed for marine conditions and is suitable for storing food, drinks, and catch during boating and fishing. It requires no electrical connection.
The cabinet and lid are insulated with THERMECOOL™ foam. The construction can keep ice for up to five days at a test temperature of approximately 32 °C under controlled conditions. Actual cold retention depends on factors such as the environment, amount of ice, contents, and how often the lid is opened.
The cooler is made of plastic and has a white finish with integrated UV inhibitors that protect against sun exposure. The construction includes marine-grade reinforced hinges, plastic latches, and rust-resistant stainless steel screws. The inner liner is resistant to stains and odors.
The two side handles have non-slip comfort grips, which provide a secure hold in wet environments. An integrated fish ruler is molded into the lid. The threaded drain plug allows for emptying meltwater without tipping the cooler, and the drain can be connected to a hose.
The Marine Contour 120 measures 98 × 44 × 45 cm and weighs 8.4 kg. The capacity is equivalent to 120 US qt or up to 188 12 oz cans without ice. The cooler is manufactured in the USA.
The optional seat cushion with item no. 50.566.90 is documented for this variant. Standard white hinges with item no. 50.559.01 and black extended-life hinges with item no. 50.559.02 are specified for all Igloo models.
