This Igloo rigid cooler in the Marine Ultra 25 series is a portable, passive cooler with a capacity of 23 L. It is developed for marine use and can be used for cooling and storing food, drinks, and catches, as well as a container for live bait.
The cooler body is insulated with THERMECOOL™ foam and has an ice retention time of 3 days at an outside temperature of 32 °C. The passive cooling requires no power or refrigerant. The capacity corresponds to 25 US quarts or up to 36 cans of approx. 355 ml.
The blow-molded plastic construction measures 52.22 × 26.56 × 33.17 cm and has a net weight of 2.63 kg. The odor-resistant and stain-resistant plastic interior makes the box suitable for storing both food and fish. The robust construction can also be used as a seat.
UV inhibitors protect the exterior against sun damage and fading. Cool Riser Technology® lifts the body from the surface and reduces direct heat impact from the deck or other hot surfaces. The lid also has an integrated measuring scale for measuring catches.
Swing-up carrying handles make the cooler easier to load, unload, and transport. Integrated tie-down points can be used to secure the box during transport or use on board. This variant has no drain plug and no wheels.
After use, the box should be emptied and cleaned with water or a mild detergent. Detergents must be rinsed off thoroughly, and the cooler should be completely dry before storage to limit stains and odors.
The cooler is manufactured in the USA and comes with a 1-year manufacturer's warranty against material and manufacturing defects under normal use. As supplementary cooling elements, 3 pcs. Igloo Performance Ice Large Blocks with manufacturer number 00025464 can be used; these are not included.
