IGLOO hard-sided cooler MaxCold Contour 165 is a large, passive cooler with a capacity of 157 l. It is designed for storing and transporting cold food, beverages, and ice and is suitable for longer trips, boating, fishing, camping, and outdoor events.
Ultratherm® insulation in both the body and lid helps keep contents cold for a longer time. Cool Riser Technology® elevates the bottom of the cooler from the surface, thereby reducing heat transfer. Under specified test conditions, the cooler can retain ice for up to 7 days at an ambient temperature of approximately 32 °C. The capacity corresponds to up to 280 cans.
The lid features a separate access hatch, allowing beverages or other smaller items to be retrieved without opening the entire main lid and letting out large amounts of cold air. Four integrated, self-draining cup holders provide a convenient place to set items down, while two snap-fit latches keep the main lid closed.
The reinforced, fold-up swing-up handles feature comfort grips and integrated tie-down loops. A threaded drain plug makes it easier to empty melted ice and allows for the attachment of a suitable hose. The cooler measures 107 × 48 × 59 cm and has a product weight of 14 kg.
The white MaxCold Contour 165 has UV inhibitors in the lid as well as an interior surface that is resistant to stains and odors. The model is made in the USA and operates without a power connection.
As an accessory, the cushion with item no. 50.566.95 can be used for this variant. The original replacement handle IGLOO 00009005 is compatible with manufacturer number 00049628 and comes with one soft-grip handle and one bracket; screws are not included.
