This IGLOO hard-sided cooler over 100 liters in the MAXCOLD CONTOUR model is a passive, insulated cooler with a capacity of 142 liters, equivalent to 150 US qt. It is designed for storing food, beverages, catch, or live bait on board and is also suitable for fishing, camping, and other activities without access to electric refrigeration.
The body and lid are insulated with Ultratherm® insulation and THERMECOOL™ foam. The construction can keep ice for up to seven days under controlled test conditions; actual cold retention depends on factors such as ambient temperature, fill level, and how often the lid is opened. The capacity is equivalent to up to 248 12 oz cans.
The cooler is made of white resin with integrated UV inhibitors, which counteract sun damage and fading. It features reinforced marine-grade hinges, plastic latches, and rust-resistant stainless steel screws. The interior liner is stain and odor resistant, making cleaning easier after storing food or fish.
The external dimensions are 107 × 48 × 53 cm, and the weight is 11 kg. Two non-slip comfort grips provide a secure hold, even with wet hands. The lid features an integrated fish ruler, while the threaded drain plug can be connected to a hose for controlled drainage.
The optional seat cushion with item no. 50.566.95 is certified for this variant and allows the cooler to be used as additional seating. The universal spare parts kit 50.559.00 as well as hinges 50.559.01 and 50.559.02 can be used for maintenance. The cooler can also be secured with the universal tie-down systems 50.156.11 or 50.156.12.
Empty the box after use and clean the interior and exterior surfaces with water or a mild detergent. Rinse off the detergent thoroughly and let the cooler dry completely before storage. Stubborn stains can be treated with a diluted mixture of baking soda and water.
