This IGLOO Polar 120 hard-shell cooler is a large, passive cooler with a capacity of 114 l. It requires no power and is suitable for storing cold beverages and food on board, while camping, or during other long excursions.
Ultratherm® insulation in both the body and the lid helps keep the contents cold. The cooler has a proven ice retention time of up to 5 days under controlled test conditions at approximately 32 °C. The actual ice retention time depends on factors such as ambient temperature, amount of ice, contents, and how often the lid is opened.
The external dimensions are 98 × 44 × 45 cm. The tapered interior compartment measures approximately 88.11 × 37.80 × 33.66 cm at the top and 83.82 × 33.66 × 33.66 cm at the bottom. The capacity is equivalent to up to 188 12 US fl oz cans.
Two snap-fit plastic latches keep the lid closed during transport. The reinforced, swing-up carrying handles make the box easier to lift and have integrated tie-down loops to secure it during transport. A threaded drain plug allows for the drainage of melted ice and can be connected to a hose; thread and hose dimensions are not specified.
The surface can be cleaned with water or a mild detergent. Detergent must be rinsed off thoroughly, and the cooler should be dry before storage. The product comes with a 1-year manufacturer's warranty against material and manufacturing defects under normal use.
A separate compatible cushion with item no. 50.566.92 is documented for this model. The cushion is not included with the cooler.
