This Igloo standard plastic cooler latch is a white spare part for compatible hard-sided Igloo coolers. The latch replaces a worn or damaged closure and helps secure the cooler lid during use and transport.
The latch is made of durable, UV-resistant plastic. When open, the latch lies flat against the cooler, reducing the risk of it being snagged or knocked off. The beveled edge deflects impact away from the latch, while the integrated design and guided positioning post make installation easier.

OEM 00024013 is also intended for 50–165 quart Igloo coolers when the existing latch uses a button-style latch post with a single center screw. The design is intended as a retrofit for current and original Igloo latch designs. Always check the cooler model, latch post, and original part number before purchasing.
The delivery includes one plastic latch, one button-style latch post with a center screw, three stainless steel screws, and installation instructions. The surface can be cleaned with water or a mild detergent. Rinse off the detergent completely and allow the parts to dry before storage.
