This built-in plastic gas cylinder locker with integrated ventilation is designed for the safe storage of a 3 kg gas cylinder and its associated pressure regulator on board. The locker has front dimensions of 405 × 375 mm, requires a built-in opening of 330 × 300 mm, and has a depth of 250 mm.
The ventilation is integrated directly into the hatch, so the locker does not require a separate external ventilation hose. The milled ventilation side must face downwards during installation so that the ventilation functions as intended.
The locker is made of plastic and is equipped with a hatch made of UV-resistant Luran. The gas line is routed through the included airtight gas bulkhead fitting. The bulkhead fitting is made of brass and is mounted in a Ø10 mm hole, which should be placed high up in the locker.
The standard version has the opening edge on the right side and hinges on the left side. The construction is intended for flush mounting and complies with ISO 10239 for LPG systems in small craft.
When installing, first drill a Ø10 mm hole high up in the locker, then mount the brass bulkhead fitting. At the same time, ensure that the integrated ventilation opening is facing downwards and is not obstructed after installation.
