The Indel B ITB portable compressor cooler/freezer, model ITB52, has a gross volume of 52 L and is designed for mobile cooling and freezing. The unit is powered by 12 or 24 V DC and is suitable for use in boats, motorhomes, campervans, camping, leisure activities, off-road driving, and professional vehicles, among others.
The compressor system has a power consumption of 60 W and an energy consumption of 0.230 kWh per 24 hours. The temperature can be thermostatically controlled from −20 °C to +10 °C via the digital control panel, where the temperature display can be toggled between Celsius and Fahrenheit. The unit measures 488 × 687 × 384 mm in H × W × D and has a net weight of 13.1 kg. The cooling compartment is shaped around the compressor step: the maximum interior length in the upper section is 490.3 mm, the lower full-height section is 386.7 mm long, and the interior width is 295.9 mm. The maximum interior height in the deep section is 407 mm, while the height above the compressor step is 241 mm.
The ITB52 must be placed on a dry, protected, and level surface and must not be exposed to rain, splashes, or water. Ventilation openings must be kept clear, and at least 60 mm of space is recommended behind, on the sides, and in front. When placed in an enclosed space, a supply of cool air and an exhaust for warm air must be provided. For permanent installation in a vehicle, the unit should be secured using suitable metal brackets on the sides.
A DC power cable with a vehicle plug is included. Operation from 100–240 V AC requires a separate AC/DC adapter. Compatible accessories include adapter 9.4.001.2/0 with EU plug, 9.4.002.2/0 with UK plug, and 9.4.003.2/0 with US plug. The unit is intended for the cooling and storage of packaged foods, sealed beverages, and snacks. It is not intended for direct food contact or the proper storage of medicine. Defrosting is recommended when the frost layer exceeds 4 mm; turn off the unit and do not use sharp tools to remove ice.
