Indel B Travel Box portable compressor cooler model ITB32 is a top-loading cooler and freezer with a 32 L gross capacity. It is developed for mobile use in boats, cars, motorhomes, campervans, off-road and professional vehicles, as well as for camping and other leisure activities.
The compressor system has a power consumption of 60 W and can be thermostat-controlled from −20 to +10 °C. The digital control panel features a display, plus and minus buttons, and the option to switch between °C and °F. The MAX mode is used for rapid cooling or in high ambient temperatures, while the ECO mode reduces the load under more moderate conditions.
The cooler connects to a 12/24 V DC system using the included DC power cable. Three-stage battery protection with High, Medium, and Low levels helps to limit discharge of the supply battery; the factory setting is Medium. When in use, the unit must be kept dry, level, and protected from rain, water splashes, heat sources, and prolonged direct sunlight. At least 60 mm of free ventilation space is recommended at the front, back, and sides. For permanent installation in a vehicle, the unit should be secured with suitable metal brackets, and a closed installation must have both an intake for cool air and an outlet for warm air.
The unit is intended for closed beverages and snacks in original packaging or suitable containers. Liquids and ice must not be poured directly into the unit. Manual defrosting is recommended when the frost layer exceeds 4 mm, and for long-term storage, the unit should be cleaned, dried, and left slightly ajar. If it has been transported lying down, it should stand upright for 24 hours before startup.
