Internal 90° swivel joint for canopy tubes is a movable angle joint for connecting tubes in canopy, bimini, and awning frames. This variant is intended for tubes with a 20 mm outside diameter and 1.2 mm wall thickness.
The ends of the joint are inserted into the compatible tubes, so the fitting becomes an internal part of the tube construction. The central, movable connection forms a 90° angle and makes the fitting suitable for joints where the frame's tubes need to be able to move around the joint.
The fitting is made of AISI 316 stainless steel with a mirror-polished surface. The insertion part has an outside diameter of 17.4 mm and an inside diameter of 13.5 mm. The insertion length is 25 mm, while the transverse hole has a diameter of 5 mm.
A 20 x 1.2 mm tube has a nominal inside diameter of 17.6 mm, which corresponds to the fitting's insertion diameter of 17.4 mm. Check both the tube's outside diameter and wall thickness before installation, as sister variants for other tube dimensions have different insertion measurements.
