This polypropylene inspection hatch with hidden mounting screws is a round, black hatch for access and inspection through a mounting surface. It has an opening diameter of 127 mm and an outer diameter of 182 mm.
The hatch is manufactured from polypropylene and features a screw-in lid, which is opened and closed by turning. The design is suitable for the inspection of spaces and cavities in marine installations.
A rubber O-ring seals between the lid and the frame, and the construction is 100% watertight. The mounting screws are concealed in the finished installation so that the fastening is not visible once the hatch is assembled and closed.
The inspection hatch is type-tested in accordance with Directive 2013/53/EU. No IP class is specified, and the watertightness should therefore not be interpreted as a specific IP classification.
