This intelligent wiper switch is an electronic control system for two DC wiper motors. It is designed for 12/24 V DC and has a current rating of 15 A per motor. The system consists of a control panel and a separate relay box, which manages the control and automatic synchronization of the two wipers.
The controls allow you to select both wipers, left wiper only, right wiper only, or parked mode. Three interval settings of 2, 4, and 8 seconds, as well as slow and fast continuous operation, can be selected when the connected wiper motors support two speeds. For single-speed motors, the supported continuous speed is used.
The switch features LED backlighting and LED indication of the selected wiper and operating mode. An external dimmer input allows for brightness adjustment. The system supports automatic parking and dynamic motor braking, which helps the wipers stop in the correct parking position.
A positive output can control a sprinkler or wash pump. Upon activation, the system performs an automatic wash/wipe cycle and then returns to the previously selected operating mode. Asymmetric, continuous LED flashing serves as a fault indicator in cases such as a missing parking signal, motor failure, or excessive speed difference between the wiper motors.
The appearance and installation format of the control panel correspond to American CarlingSwitch switches. The package includes the control panel, relay box, 1 m eight-pole flat cable, necessary connectors and terminals, and a user manual. All motor connectors must be connected before the supply voltage is turned on, and motor cables must be sized according to the maximum current consumption of the motors. An optional frame with item no. 14.197.01 can be used for the installation.
