This IP67 plastic connector housing is a 3-pole male variant for establishing waterproof electrical connections. The connector housing is part of the Seal 2.8 series and is intended for installations where the cable connection must be protected against dust and temporary immersion in water.
The connector housing is made of black PA66, also known as polyamide 66, and measures 53 mm in length and 32 mm in width. It has space for three separate male terminals and uses the Metripack M280 terminal family. The connector family is rated for cables up to 1.2 mm².
The item includes a pack of 5 connector housings. Brass terminals and cable seals are supplied separately, so the product is not a complete or pre-terminated connector assembly. Male terminal 14.236.45 is mounted in this connector housing, while silicone cable seal 14.236.48 provides sealing around the cable entry and is designed for cable cross-sections of 0.5-1.5 mm².
