Insulated flexible air duct for air conditioning systems with a nominal diameter of 127 mm and an extended length of 10 m. The air duct is intended for air distribution in marine air conditioning and ventilation installations and is supplied as a compressed roll.
The flexible duct is manufactured from additive-treated polyolefin resin film and features a built-in spring steel wire spiral. The construction allows the duct to be routed through installations where a rigid air duct is not suitable. The bending radius is specified as 0.8–1.5 times the diameter of the duct.
The air duct has heat-insulating cladding of polyester fiber as well as vapor barrier protection of additive-treated polyolefin resin. The black duct can be used at temperatures from -20 °C to +90 °C and can withstand short-term temperature peaks up to +110 °C.
The maximum air velocity is 20 m/s, while the maximum pressure is specified as approximately 200 mm. For the Ø 127 mm variant, the air volume is specified as 383 m³/h at 8 m/s and 368 m³/h at 10 m/s.
The air duct has a fire reaction class 1 according to the Italian D.M. 26/06/84. One sales unit consists of a complete roll with 10 m of duct.
