Insulated flexible air duct for air conditioning with a nominal diameter of Ø 152 mm and a length of 10 m. The duct is intended for air handling and air distribution in marine air conditioning installations and is supplied assembled as a roll.
The flexible duct body is manufactured from additive-treated polyolefin resin film and reinforced with a spring steel spiral. The construction makes the duct flexible with a documented bending radius of 0.8–1.5 times the duct diameter.
The duct has polyolefin-based vapor protection and a thermally insulating polyester fiber jacket. The black, insulated construction is designed to convey conditioned air through the installation.
At an air velocity of 8 m/s, the air volume is 575 m³/h, while at 10 m/s it is 773 m³/h. The maximum air velocity is 20 m/s, and the maximum pressure is approximately 200 mm water gauge.
The operating temperature is from −20 °C to +90 °C with short-term temperature peaks up to +110 °C. The reaction to fire is classified as Class 1 according to D.M. 26/06/84.
