This Isotherm box evaporator with quick couplings and thermostat is a system component for marine refrigeration systems. It is intended for creating or converting an insulated space into a refrigerator or freezer and is sized for a refrigerator compartment of max. 125 l or a freezer compartment of max. 41 l at −12 °C.
The evaporator has a box/O-shaped design with a documented box classification of 4 l. This classification describes the evaporator type itself and must not be confused with the maximum volume of the cooled compartment. The product measures 240 × 210 × 85 mm, divided as 240 mm in length, 210 mm in depth, and 85 mm in height.
The quick couplings are used for the connection between the evaporator and the refrigeration system's compressor/condenser unit. The included thermostat makes it possible to regulate the temperature as part of the overall cooling system.
This variant is documented for use with compressor unit item no. 50.932.00. The product is not a standalone electric cooling unit; power supply, performance, and compressor-technical data are determined by the connected compressor unit.
