This Isotherm Cruise built-in freezer is the CR90-F-CT model with a 90-liter capacity and 12/24 V DC operation. The front-opening freezer is designed for permanent installation on board and features an Inox Clean Touch front, built-in compressor, and extra-thick insulation. The freezer function is intended to keep already frozen food frozen and is not for freezing fresh or partially frozen items.
The freezer features a stainless steel front and door with a Clean Touch treatment, which reduces visible fingerprints. The included 3-sided mounting flange is made of stainless steel and provides a flush installation where the door sits level with the flange. The model is supplied right-hinged and features a flush snap lock.
The closed cooling system uses a built-in, fan-cooled BD35F compressor and R134a refrigerant. The extra-thick insulation supports stable cooling performance and reduced power consumption. The instantaneous power is 72 W with a current draw of 6 A at 12 V or 3 A at 24 V. Energy consumption is 626 Wh/24 h when measured at 12 V with -18 °C in the freezer compartment and +25 °C ambient temperature. The unit has built-in low-voltage protection.
The 2-star freezer rating is specified at -12 °C, while the separate top compartment functions as a chiller at 0 to -3 °C. The interior consists of three shelves and four separate inner lids or covers. The freezer does not have No Frost and must be defrosted when the frost layer is approximately 3-4 mm thick.
The product dimensions are 545 mm in width, 565 mm in depth, and 750 mm in height, including the feet. The unit must stand on the compressor's rubber feet and be secured via the mounting flange. The compressor can operate at an inclination of up to 30°. Proper ventilation must be ensured with air intake from below and hot air exhaust from above or the sides. An installation clearance of 20 mm to the cabinet wall on each side and 50 mm of free space above the unit should be used. The installation site must be dry, protected from rain and water splashes, and placed away from gas cylinders and LPG systems.
The electrical installation is carried out directly to the battery or main switch with a separate breaker and fuse. The recommended fuse is 15 A at 12 V and 7.5 A at 24 V. At 12 V, 2.5 mm² cable can be used up to 2.5 m, 4 mm² up to 4 m, 6 mm² up to 6 m, and 10 mm² up to 10 m. At 24 V, the corresponding maximum cable lengths are 5, 8, 12, and 20 m. The low-voltage protection stops the compressor as standard at 9.6 V on a 12 V system and 21.3 V on a 24 V system, and restarts at 10.9 V and 22.7 V, respectively.
The freezer can be installed side-by-side with the Isotherm Cruise 130 Inox Clean Touch refrigerator, item no. 50.827.34. The two units have the same width and height. Documented spare parts include inner freezer lid 94250941, stainless steel handle 94250929, electronic compressor unit 94250918, BD35F compressor 94250904, and condenser fan 94250959.
The Clean Touch surface is cleaned with a soft, damp microfiber cloth without abrasive cleaners, paper, or scouring pads. The condenser should be cleaned seasonally with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner. During long periods of downtime, the freezer should be defrosted, wiped dry, and left with the door slightly open. Do not use sharp objects to remove ice.
