Description
To avoid siphoning in the hoses, an anti-siphon valve must be installed on both the inlet and outlet hoses. The valve is installed at the highest point and allows air to enter the hose when it is not under pressure.
The air forms a small pocket in the hose, which breaks the water column in the hose and prevents water from entering the boat.
