Jabsco electric marine toilet with compact bowl is a complete 24 V DC toilet for the boat's sanitation system. The integrated flush pump and macerator pump are activated by the included momentary push-button, so flushing, macerating, and discharging are handled in a single operation.
The compact design features a white glazed porcelain bowl as well as a seat and lid in enameled or lacquered wood. The toilet measures 350 mm in width, 430 mm in depth, and 350 mm in height, and weighs 15.4 kg. The enclosed permanent magnet motor has a stainless steel shaft, and the construction includes a built-in backflow preventer.
The impeller-based flush pump is self-priming with a vertical suction lift of up to 1.2 m. The water inlet is designed for a 19 mm hose, while the standard discharge uses a 25 mm hose. An adapter from 25 to 38 mm is included so that a 38 mm discharge hose can also be used. The macerator and discharge pump can operate against a vertical discharge head of up to 1.2 m.
The toilet can be mounted above or up to 90 cm below the waterline on a level surface. If the installation is, or may come, below the waterline during heeling or trim, the inlet hose must be fitted with a correctly positioned vented loop at least 200 mm above the waterline. The inlet must not be connected directly to a pressurized drinking water system; freshwater flushing requires a separate tank that supplies the toilet exclusively.
The operating current is 8 A at 24 V DC, and the recommended fuse is 15 A. The toilet must be connected to a separate electrical circuit with correct polarity. For a total wire run of up to 9.1 m, use AWG 16 wire, and the fuse or circuit breaker should be placed in the positive lead near the power source. The push-button can be mounted in a panel with a thickness of up to 25 mm and requires a 16 mm mounting hole.
The system is designed for human waste and toilet paper, but not for cloths, sanitary products, or hard objects. For winter storage, close the inlet valve and run the toilet briefly until the water has been pumped out. The model reference is 37010-0096, while 37010-3094 is the later replacement with changed dimensions. Documented service references include service kit 37040-0000, switch and switch plate 37020-0000, and discharge adapter 98023-0080.
