Jabsco electric conversion kit for manual marine toilet converts a compatible manual marine toilet to electric operation. The kit is powered by 12 V and replaces the complete manual pump assembly, so manual pumping is no longer necessary.
The conversion can be performed without replacing the toilet bowl. The existing inlet and outlet hoses are retained, which limits changes to the existing installation. The kit is intended for the Jabsco manual toilet with item no. 50.224.00 and is also documented for Twist’n’Lock systems.
The electric pump unit has an integrated macerator function that shreds the waste during discharge. The scope of delivery includes an electric flush and pump unit, hoses, fasteners, operating switch, adapters, as well as clamps and ties.
The conversion kit measures a total of 270 × 90 × 150 mm. It can be installed both above and below the waterline when pipework, seacocks, and anti-siphon protection are correctly carried out according to the boat's installation. The recommended fuse for the 12 V installation is 25 A.
The product meets ISO 8846 Marine and USCG 183.410 for ignition protection as well as EN 50081-2 for electromagnetic compatibility. A related service kit with item no. 50.225.30 contains an impeller, gasket, and O-rings.
