For best results, the substrate must be clean, dry and free from contamination. Surfaces with grease, oil or other contaminants should be washed with e.g. Jotun Boatwash. All surfaces should be sanded with P80-P180 sandpaper. Wipe dry/ then clean with Jotun Thinner No. 2 or JOTUN White Spirit before applying the sealant.
Jotun Farm 80 sealant is surface dry after 1.5 - 2 hours, but can only be painted over after 4-6 hours.
Finishing above the waterline
Ship side/freeboard: Finish with two coats of Gelcoat/topcoat.
Finishing below the waterline
Finish with two coats of Jotun antifouling.
Note: Light colors may be discolored by fuel due to "bleeding".
