The lower unit rests against a rubber contact surface and is secured with straps. This helps keep the motor stably positioned in the support cradle during transport or storage.
When using, lower the motor using the trim function until the lower unit rests correctly on the support. Before transport, check that the length is locked, the straps are secured, and the support points fit the construction of the trailer or storage stand.
