This capacitive level sensor for wastewater tanks has a sensor length of 380 mm and is intended for a tank height of 400 mm. The sensor is used for detecting the liquid level in wastewater and blackwater tanks.
The capacitive measuring principle provides a resistance signal of 10–180 Ω. The sensor is compatible with the 27.438.xx and 27.538.xx instrument series, as well as other level instruments designed for a 10–180 Ω sensor signal.
Mounting is performed through the top of the tank using an international 5-hole flange. The tank height of 400 mm is a compatibility and installation measurement, while the sensor itself has a documented length of 380 mm.
Directly compatible Waste Guardian instruments include the 27.438.01 and 27.438.02 with black dial and bezel, as well as the 27.538.01 and 27.538.02 with white dial and bezel. The voltage of the instruments is selected separately and does not indicate the supply voltage of the sensor.
