This copper battery cable with synthetic resin insulation is a black 25 mm² cable for marine battery installations. The cable is supplied as a 24 m reel and is intended for electrical installations on board, including installation in the keel and bilge.
The copper conductor has a cross-section of 25 mm² and is rated for a maximum continuous current of 100 A. The outer cable diameter is 10.30 mm, while the synthetic resin-based insulation sheath has a thickness of 1.8 mm.
The cable is manufactured in accordance with IEC 60228, EN 50363-4-1, EN 50395, and EN 50396, as well as the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. When dimensioning the installation, consideration must be given to power consumption, total cable length, voltage drop, and installation conditions.
The black sheath makes the cable suitable for use where black conductor marking is required in the installation. A documented red parallel variant with the same cross-section is available under item no. 14.382.25.
