This collectively approved liferaft with ministerial approval has a capacity of 8 persons and is intended as a collective life-saving appliance for the merchant fleet and commercial passenger vessels.
The liferaft has a rigid construction made of plastic material with polyurethane filling. The orange colour makes the life-saving appliance clearly visible, and the product measures 90 × 90 cm.
The variant is approved according to M.M.M. 1/1991. It is supplied without retro-reflectors and must therefore be fitted with the relevant reflective tape.
The reflective tape kit with item no. 22.700.05 is ordered separately and contains 2 m of reflective tape of type 22.300.03. The reflective tape is self-adhesive, 50 mm wide and MED-approved. Since 1993, reflective tape has been mandatory on this liferaft.
