This compact weather station with radio-controlled clock brings together time, calendar, and local weather measurements on a clear color display. The station shows temperature and relative humidity for both indoors and outdoors, as well as barometric pressure, weather trend, moon phase, and a local weather forecast.
The included wireless thermo/hygro sensor transmits outdoor temperature and humidity via 433.92 MHz RF with a range of up to 60 m in an open and unobstructed area. The system supports up to three sensor channels. The outdoor sensor has its own LCD display, channel selector, and the option for placement on a flat surface or wall mounting.
The temperature can be displayed in °C or °F. The measuring range is −9.9 to +50 °C indoors and −20 to +60 °C outdoors, while humidity is measured from 20 to 95% RH both indoors and outdoors. Min. and max. values as well as development trends are saved, and upper and lower alarm limits can be set for the outdoor temperature. The frost symbol is activated at outdoor temperatures between −1 and +3 °C.
The barometer shows pressure in hPa/mb or inHg within the range of 600–1100 hPa/mb. Atmospheric pressure trends are used for an indicative local forecast for approximately the next 12 hours with icons for sunny, partly cloudy, cloudy, rain, heavy rain, or snow. The forecast is intended as local guidance and does not replace professional meteorological services.
The clock synchronizes via DCF time signal and can use a 12- or 24-hour format as well as a time zone correction from −12 to +12 hours. The calendar runs until 2099, and the day of the week can be displayed in Danish, among other languages. The station also features a daily alarm, adjustable snooze from 5 to 60 minutes, and automatic display of 12 moon phases.
The backlight has three brightness levels plus an off mode. When using the included 5 V DC mains adapter, the light can be constantly active, while it activates for approximately 15 seconds when battery-powered. The main station uses 2 × AA/LR6 batteries, and the outdoor sensor uses 2 × AAA/LR3 batteries; batteries are not included. The main station can be placed on a table or wall-mounted. The mains adapter is intended for indoor use only and must be protected against water and splashes.
