This complete shore power kit with electrical panel and Cruiser boat inlet is designed to connect a boat's 220/230 V shore power system to a shore power pedestal on the quay. The variant includes a white Cruiser boat inlet, a pre-wired 16 A/230 V electrical panel, and a 10 m shore power cable for 16 A.
The included electrical panel is designed as a compact white ABS box with a waterproof IP65-rated door. The panel contains a residual current device (RCD), a magnetothermal automatic circuit breaker, and a Schuko socket with a protective cover. A fixed 3 m 3G cable is mounted to the panel, which is intended for installation below deck and can be mounted in any desired position.
The white Cruiser boat inlet is 3-pole and rated for 16 A at 230 V. The base and lid are made of nylon PA6. The plug connection is secured with a rotating locking ring and has an IP67 rating when the connection is assembled. When the plug is disconnected, the rubber cap provides IP44 protection.
The shore power cable is 10 m long and has three conductors with a cross-section of 3 × 2.5 mm². The external diameter of the cable is 11.2 mm. The boat side is equipped with a Cruiser plug, while the quay side has an industrial 16 A plug for the shore power pedestal.
The connection system follows IEC 60309-5. The set is thus assembled around components with a uniform rated current of 16 A, while the various IP ratings apply to the individual parts: IP67 for the connected Cruiser connection, IP65 for the electrical panel door, and IP44 for the disconnected plug with a rubber cap.
The kit contains electrical panel item no. 14.737.16 and shore power cable item no. 14.416.20. The industrial plug on the quay side of the cable is item no. 14.335.01.
